:?: Does anyone know it the Side-by-Sides, like the Yamaha Rino or Kawasaki Mule, will be allowed on the ATV trail system in Quebec? There are a few people here in NY the now have them and they would very much like to go with me a rides in Quebec.

No, unfortunatly for your friends, the side-by-sides are not allowed in the Quebec trails.

:D Thanks Jackrabbit for the info :D

Any chance in the future of them being allowed??? :?:

I know here in NY they are not reconized yet either. We can't register them so they are seen as farm equipment and as long as they have the slow moving triangle on them and they stay below 25mph they can ride the roads.

I don't think so. First they are wider than all ATVs which might cause accidents in narrow curves. Second, the FQCQ had to define the term ATV to prevent all kinds of other vehicules to get in the trails. An ATV has 3 or more low pressure wheels, and you must sit with the seat between your legs. Sides-by-sides, argos, motorcycles, go-karts, jeep, snowmobiles, ATVs with tracks, etc are excluded.

ATVs with tracks are not allowed? I did'nt know that, it's too bad beacause in winter it's the best way to move around on an atv. Thanks for the info, I might consider not to get tracks now, wich I was about to get.
