Camping
Hi,
I know its early to think camping but I thought I'd ask early so I can get a list of location to check out and be ready to go when the weather turns warm.
Can anyone tell me locations or camp grounds that a few of us could go to for weekend camping that is located on the trail system? Preferably I'd like to be no more than 1 to 2 hours from Montreal.
Thanks for any info
Ken

They are not very English friendly over there.
:( They took down their English forum and on the French forum they have an English section as we do here but the only discusion in it is an argument about weather or not they want to chat in English. I tried to sign up to log on to the forum and all i get is a blank page so I can't even get it to post a question. :(
Sorry but I'm way too old to learn a new language and I have enough trouble with the one I use.

Wow...there's a nice site with a good advertisement for the province of Quebec. Evidently the quad fraternity is more accomodating :)
Back to the topic....I think there was camping near Labelle. A little outside the 1-2 hour range. I can't seem to find it on their maps, though. I'll dig a little deeper.

We would like to find places to go with our RV Toy Hauler trailers and ATVs for weekend trips. Our trailers are about 30' long. Either in camp grounds or places where we can park and ride ATVs from the camp site. I'm fully self contained with generator and carry 100 gals of water, so hook ups are not important but if available thats OK also.
Thanks
Ken

The problem for me is to find someting at about 1 or 2 hrs drive from Montréal. During the summer, the ATV riding spot in Quebec is in the free land up north. You have their a lot of nice campground from where it's easy to reach the free land with an ATV. In south of Qubec, between Montréal and Québec city I only know Val Alain

Thanks for the link macfly9.
I'll check it out. Sounds like what we are looking for. I did a poker run up in the Rawdon area a couple of years ago and had a great time. Went up and met up with Slomo and The Hack (from this forum). They took us on a couple of days ride and we had a great time. Haven't heard from them since then.
Thanks again
Ken
